Our archive crew has asked us to share this link, which highlights the important work being done to protect and share our collective story. We plan to post fresh discoveries every month—so take a look and spend some time exploring while you’re there.

This photo features my ancestor, F. Herbert Pierson (born 1886 in St. George), at approximately 18 years of age, dating the image to around 1905–1910. Because he is exceptionally well-dressed and did not leave the area for college or work, we believe this was a posed photo for a local community group or club led by the older gentleman in the frame.

We are trying to identify the other individuals or the organization itself. If you have any information or historical context that might help our search, please let us know.
